Training
Shaina has taken horses and riders from the beginning of their careers to the top levels of the sport. She specializes in hunter and jumper disciplines and works with all breeds. Shaina's students range from lead line to grand prix.
Judging
Shaina Humphrey has been a USEF Large R judge of hunters, jumpers, and hunter seat equitation since 1990. She has judged premier competitions across the US including shows at HITS and WEF. She is a regular fixture at IHSA and IEA shows in the Northeast.
Clinics
Shaina's clinics are focused on teaching the horse and rider classic principles of forward seat riding using flat work, cavaletti, and gymnastic exercises. She has been a featured clinician at the Equine Affair. She is available to travel to your location to teach.
Sales
Shaina has sold all breeds of horses and ponies. She has a good eye for a nice horse. and is able match riders with the right horse for their level of riding.
Show Management
Shaina has been managing horse shows since 1980. She takes events from their conception to their conclusion. She provides details of site planning, sponsorships, advertising, prize lists, programs, and exhibitor relations.
Consultation
Shaina has consulted for regional equestrian centers on program development and safety related issues. Her services also include horse valuations, troubleshooting, and confidential second opinions.
